5A exploring festive Prague from 21 to 23 December
It was our very last opportunity to get on a three days trip with the whole class! Together with our form teachers, Ms Hilscher and Ms David we set off to Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic, just three days before Christmas.
After some investigations we decided to book with studentagency coach tours and found a youth hostel right in the centre of Prague. Both were good choices and good value for the money we paid.
Prague looks like a fairy tale city with its impressive buildings, romantic alleys, medieval Charles Bridge and the Jewish quarter, of course the amazing castle and stunning Christmas decorations, good pubs and stylish art deco cafés and…and…and…
Of course we also went on a half day guided city tour (which we can really recommend!!) to learn about the history, great personalities and everyday life. What we thoroughly enjoyed was the X-mas dinner in The Pub, where we exchanged presents, could draft our own beer and order food online via little screens on the tables. By the way, nightlife is also fine!
We all agree that the trip was a great idea and an unforgettable experience. Thanks for letting us go!
